Reporting

If you suspect child abuse, call the hotline to make a report.  Our city is unique as we sit on the state line of Texas and Arkansas, if possible when you make a report to the hotline please report to the state the suspected child abuse occurred in.  It is not necessary to try to confirm suspected child abuse on your own, if there is any reason to believe the child has suffered abuse of any kind please make a report immediately.  If you are a mandated reporter (physicians, hospital personnel, educators and school faculty, therapists, public safety workers such as police, DHS, CPS, government agency employees, clergy, pastors, etc) it is against the law to have knowledge or any suspicion of abuse and not report it.
